OK, so I’m going to post up some stuff over the next couple of days. It’s still not too late if you had something in mind to say, and were waiting for your moment: don’t think about it, just do it!
Go ahead and talk about something awesome to loading.podcast on Skype.
The Loading Podcast is a one-off, distributed podcast about any subject that you, dear reader, find interesting enough to talk about passionately for a few minutes. This could be anything from cricket scoring, to colour theory, to footwear semiotics, to mathematical functions, to cat breeding and all points between. I’ll edit the best bits together at the end of February into an episode or two of a free podcast.
I’ve set up a Skype account called loading.podcast - if you just want to gabble away for a few minutes about a subject that you find interesting, please do call up the voicemail box there and do that very thing, leaving your name and some kind of online contact (if you wish) so you can be properly credited. Also, if you could end your message by saying “the Loading Podcast!” in an enthusiastic, 80s-kids-TV sort of a way, that would be super.
If you’d rather record something yourself (have access to a decent recorder, and/or would like to do a bit of fancy production yourself), there’s also an email address:

Sling something (in decent-quality MP3, M4A or FLAC) online somewhere (Dropbox or Soundcloud might be a good place to start, if you’re wondering where) and let me know at that address.
